The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, fully God and equal with the Father and the Son. He proceeds from the Father and the Son and is actively at work in the world and in the church.
The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, gives new life to those who believe, and permanently indwells every believer. He applies the work of Christ, sanctifies God’s people, empowers obedience, and equips the church with spiritual gifts for its growth and maturity. The Spirit preserves believers in faith and leads them into truth according to God’s Word.
