The Church

We believe the church is the people of God, redeemed by Christ and united by the Holy Spirit. The universal church is made up of all true believers in Jesus Christ across all times and places. The local church is a visible gathering of baptized believers who covenant together under Christ’s lordship for worship, teaching, fellowship, discipline, and mission.

Jesus Christ is the head of the church. He rules His people through His Word and cares for them through faithful shepherds. The church exists to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, build one another up in love, and bear witness to Christ in the world, all for the glory of God.
